With lent over and spring in the air we have a number of exciting and creative gatherings planed.

Our Gatherings happen 6pm on Sunday at 128 Hughson St. N. (The Hooper Law building across from the Spice Factory).

Here is what is on for April & May:

    Post Easter reflection.
    Guest Music by Regan Neudorf.
  • April 15th
    Living into Shared Community
    Reflecting on our Core Values.
    Guest Music by Jarred Both
  • April 22nd – Living into Creative Peace (Reflecting on our Core Values)
  • April 29th – Song // Story // Supper
A Community Potluck & House Show featuring: Jon Corbin
Bring some food to add to our potluck supper and listen to songs and stories from our good friend Job Corbin. Jon is an amazing rapper, poet, and teacher.
Check out the Facebook Event Page for more info.
  • May 6th  – All Hands on Deck Music with Peter Tigchelaar
Bring an instrument (or borrow something from our percussion bin) and learn some Benedictine & Taizé worship songs.
  • May 13th – God is our Mother
We our fans of the Liturgists and we want to borrow from their Mother’s Day project that helps people reflect on God as not only our Father but also our Mother.
  • May 20th – Pentecost Reflection & Potluck Supper
Pentecost is one of the Church Holidays that hasn’t become co-opted by Card & Chocolate companies. That being said Pentecost is just as festive as Christmas & Easter and deserves some celebrating. Bring some food to add to our supper and come learn about the early church having it’s first encounter with the Holy Spirit of God.
  • May 27th – Living into Story Honouring (Reflecting on our Core Values)

Stations of the Cross Paintings

Each week during our Stations of the Cross series Randell Neudorf has been creating two paintings based on that week’s stations. During the week news paper headlines are chosen each day that some how relate to the specific station of the cross reading being used. The clippings are then pasted onto a small wooden panel. Every Friday Randell re-reads the scripture and newspaper headlines and creates a symbol for the stations we will be reflecting on at our Sunday Worship Gathering.

Here are the stations completed so far:

You can follow the artist’s process during the week on Randell’s Instagram.
